Bedreddine Abidi, is Program Manager for the Middle East Investment Initiative (MEII) in Tunisia, where he manages MEII’s SME credit guarantee facility. He has over 14 years of professional experience in the banking and financial sector. Prior to joining MEII, Mr. Abidi directed the Strategy Department in the Tunisian subsidiary of the Attijariwafa Bank where he actively participated in a number of tasks such as restructuring MSME financing, implementing micro enterprise servicing strategy, and establishing a custodial division at the bank.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Abidi worked with a Tunisian private bank as a senior banker and with a French asset management company as a junior asset manager. Mr. Abidi holds a Master’s degree in Asset Management from Paris Dauphine University, a Specialized Master in Banking from CNAM Paris, and a MSc in Finance from “HEC” Business School in Carthage. He is a certified trainer in entrepreneurship and business planning and an international expert on micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSME).
