Cathy Isaacson is a director of the New York Women’s Foundation whose mission is to increase the economic security of low income families in New York City. She is a member of the Leadership Council of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation and a member of the Fellows Advisory Board and the Washington Programming Committee of the Aspen Institute. She also serves on the Advisory Board of 826DC, is a regional judge for the White House Fellows, and is a member of the Bezos Scholars Selection Committee. Cathy has served on the boards of Maret School and the Washington Area Women’s Foundation.
Cathy worked for over 20 years as an attorney in private practice. She practiced law at Hemenway & Barnes in Boston, Casey, Haythe & Krugman in New York, and Wright, Manning, Rips & Maloney in New York. Her areas of specialty included corporate transactions, business contracts, corporate and partnership formation, securities law, and employment law. She received her BA from Smith College and JD from Boston University School of Law.
