Osama Kasbari is the Associate VP for Compliance for the Middle East Investment Initiative (MEII) in Washington, DC. He is a development finance professional with over 17 years of management experience. Mr. Kasbari is responsible for overseeing all aspects of global compliance with all donor regulations and with MEII's internal policies and procedures. He has supervised all headquarters operations and the day-to-day programmatic support of projects in the field including budgeting, cash flow and federal and donor reporting. Previously, he served as Deputy Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Global Communities’ Loan Guarantee Facility in the West Bank. He worked as a consultant with the World Bank Lands Administration Project, and was the SME Strategic Restructuring Manager at Financial Markets International, a USAID contractor. He also worked for the Palestine Stock Exchange as Head of the Operations and Surveillance Division. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago and a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from California State University.
